Pintura Studio

Pintura Studio uses a multi-cultural, multi-epoch design philosophy to create a sonorous, universal aesthetic. For example, Tanta, is based on an early Coptic Christian design, Firenza, on an Italian Renaissance damask, Malabar is from a Mogul Indian embroidery, where as Dasara is derived from a Euro-Indian pattern, Kyoto, is inspired by an antique Japanese textile. The library of Pintura Studio Designs includes updated classical designs from all over the world, each one individually adapted from the original and painstakingly cut into a stencil by hand, insuring the tradition of handmade craftsmanship. This belief in products that are hand made from start to finish, as well as tapping into the world’s varied aesthetic gives Pintura Studio’s fabrics their unique look, their mellifluous, flowing style.
